Editorial methodology

Ingredients first. Routine second. Hype last.

Our labels describe a product’s strongest job—not a universal winner.

1. Match mechanism to ingredients

We begin with what the shopper juices most. Leafy greens and celery often favor a slow auger. Firm produce and rushed mornings can favor centrifugal speed. Citrus-only routines are usually better served by a dedicated press or reamer.

2. Evaluate repeat-use friction

Feed preparation, number of washable parts, screen access, noise, pulp capacity, assembly, and working clearance determine whether a machine becomes part of the routine. We treat these as purchase criteria, not footnotes.

3. Use live, relevant Amazon products

Our product-level destinations are generated through the connected Amazon catalog for JuicerPress.net with tracking ID juicerpress-20. We avoid displaying prices because price and availability can change. We periodically refresh product relevance and replace discontinued or unsuitable picks.

4. State a real tradeoff

Every machine compromises somewhere: speed, greens handling, hopper size, counter space, specialization, part count, or budget. Our “Know before you buy” notes surface the issue most likely to change the decision.

5. Keep editorial labels ours

Labels such as “Our Best Overall” and “Best for Greens” are JuicerPress.net editorial categories. They are not permanent Amazon badges. Retailer labels can change and should be verified on the destination page.
